The Essex Qualifier of the JD Ball Out 3x3 National Tour delivered an unforgettable day of high-energy basketball, fierce competition, and community spirit. Held in Colchester, the event ran seamlessly from start to finish, showcasing the very best of grassroots and elite-level 3x3 talent.
With 90 teams competing across multiple age groups and divisions, this qualifier may well have set a new benchmark for single-day participation in UK 3x3 basketball.
The sheer scale and smooth execution of the event are a testament to our staff, volunteers, and the passionate basketball community in East England.
🏴 Scotland Makes a Statement
Scotland made a strong impression by bringing a number of youth teams to the tournament, adding a competitive edge and national flavour to the day, highlighted by the under 16 girls winning the qualifier. Their presence highlighted the growing reach of 3x3 basketball across the UK and the importance of regional representation in developing the sport.
