The Ball Out 3x3 Championship is an initiative that’s been in action for eight years. Year on year the tournament has grown to a huge national competition in summer 2021 with events across the UK.

3x3 Basketball is the largest urban team sport of the world (ESSEC study commissioned by IOC) and will be an Olympic sport in the near future. Ball Out 3x3 is the largest 3x3 basketball tournament in the nation and we are pioneers for 3x3 basketball in the UK. Our aim is to increase basketball participation and become the solution for the provision of summer basketball across the nation.


As an organisation we are committed to inspiring people to pick up, develop and excel within our sport.

FIBA 3x3 have endorsed our event providing us with a global and extremely marketable platform with Ball Out 3x3 being an official qualifying event for the FIBA 3x3 World Tour. The FIBA 3x3 World Tour is an international tour of 3x3 basketball teams representing cities across 6 continents.

We are excited to announce Nike as our main official sponsor for 2019, we have been working closely with the brand to give our participants the best experience possible this summer.

Nike's mission statement is to "bring inspiration and innovation to every athlete* in the world." Note the asterisk after "athlete." Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman reportedly added the asterisk, explaining that "if you have a body, you are an athlete." In other words, Nike's goal is to inspire you, whether you're an NFL quarterback or a hobbyist sprinter, or you just want to wear Nike gear as you go about your daily errands.

The company's message of inclusiveness can be taken as encouragement for everyone to be active. Nike has run ad campaigns featuring athletes who are wheelchair-bound and who pursue their passions for sports. From a financial perspective, Nike's mission statement also widens the company's scope to pursue anyone and everyone as a potential customer for its merchandise.

NBA 2K series is a collection of video games which are released every year. They are intended to emulate actual basketball play as carried out through the official rules of the National Basketball Association.

The Mamba Forever Edition celebrates Kobe's lifelong pursuit of victory and legacy and immortalizes him with two unique custom covers honoring the span of his career. For the current generation version of the game, Kobe is shown wearing #8 – from his days as a bold and brash rookie. In the next-generation cover art, he is shown wearing #24, the number he played his final game in: his iconic 60-point performance.

Basketball England are the National Governing Body (NGB) for basketball in England and responsible for all aspects of the sport. They are a company limited by guarantee that comprises of member clubs and players.


Basketball England  have recently moved their head office to the NSC, Etihad Campus, Manchester and we have a team of just over 25 employed people to carry out the day-to-day running of the organisation, including the development and growth of the sport.
